I had only heard a few comments about 24 before sitting down and watching the episodes on DVD. I had heard that it was the best new TV show on the air, and how riveting it was supposed to be. But being a fan of the WB's Smallville (which also airs on Wednesday nights), I had never actually watched one episode...until now.
All I can say is that Superman can go fly a kite...I'm a Jack Bauer fan now and can't wait for the second season to begin. Which is perhaps the reason FOX r

Truly awesome... - 4.5 out of 5 (2/17/2006)
I had heard from friends that the show was good, but I never would have guessed. I caught the premiere of the this year's show and I immediately went out and bought the 1st season. I finished the 1st season over the weekend and bought the rest. I am on the 3rd season now and I have not seen a dull episode. If not the best TV show ever, it is damn close!

A few years ago, some of the people I worked with at the time started to go nuts over this new show called "24." I had heard a little bit about it but since I rarely actually watch TV shows I never really paid much attention. Then DVDEmpire.com ran a sale of quite a few different TV on DVD box sets for $15 a piece.
